Nplay Scholar — the immersive training platformConcept · in development

منصة التدريب التفاعلي ثلاثي الأبعاد من أكاديمية نبلاي

Nplay Scholar is a 3D interactive learning platform from Nplay Academy. Learners explore, dissect and manipulate 3D objects in real time — an engine, a heart, a substation — while interactive hotspots deliver explanations, animations and quizzes. Trainers build courses in a web portal without coding. Scholar is a concept in development, built for organisations in the MENA region, especially Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The problem

Textbooks and videos do not build practical skill

Traditional training is static and passive, and retention suffers for it. Textbooks and videos give learners limited engagement with complex concepts; on-the-job training is expensive, risky and slow to scale. Most organisations know this and still have no affordable middle ground.

Nplay Scholar is that middle ground: an immersive training platform where the learner does the thing rather than reading about it. Pull a component out of a machine, rotate it, read its specification on a hotspot, watch it animate, and answer a quiz — in the browser or in a VR headset, alone or with a class in the same 3D space.

Scholar is in development. It is the platform behind Nplay Academy, the training arm that already delivers VR training programmes; Scholar makes that content authorable by your own instructors.

Teams searching for an immersive training platform Jordan organisations can trust usually want the same three things: content that matches their own procedures, results they can measure, and delivery in Arabic and English. That is the brief Nplay Scholar is being designed around.

Take learning to the next level

What learners and trainers get

Extensive 3D model library

Ready-made models across engineering, medicine, industry and science, plus custom models from Nplay's 3D studio or your own CAD files.

Interactive exploration

Explore, dissect and manipulate objects in real time. Explode an assembly, hide layers, cut a section, put it back together.

Part identification & details

Hotspots on every part give in-depth information, animations and quizzes exactly where the learner is looking.

Educational versatility

The same platform serves a medical school, a military academy and a factory induction — only the models and the course content change.

Multiplayer collaboration

Instructor and learners share one 3D space, point, annotate and solve problems together, on site or remotely.

Data-driven insights

Quiz scores, time on task and interaction paths per learner, so you know what was understood and what was skipped.

Use cases

Who Scholar is built for

  • Schools and universities — 3d interactive learning for anatomy, mechanics, chemistry and architecture (see the university campus use case)
  • Medical schools and healthcare professionals — dissect organs and rehearse procedures without a cadaver or a patient
  • Military academies and vocational schools — weapons, vehicles, machinery and safety procedures in a risk-free environment
  • Corporate training — equipment induction, maintenance procedures and product knowledge for sales teams
  • Government organisations — standardised training across many sites from one cloud platform
  • Research institutions — shared 3D models for collaborative study and teaching
  • Training consultants — build and resell immersive courses to their own clients
Building a course

How an instructor creates an immersive lesson

  1. Choose or upload the model

Pick from the 3D library, upload CAD, or commission a scan or model from our 3D content studio.

  2. Add hotspots and media

Place information points on parts; attach text, images, animations and voice-over in Arabic or English.

  3. Write the quiz and path

Define the learning path, checkpoints and quizzes; set what must be completed before moving on.

  4. Publish and track

Learners open the course in a browser or VR headset; the dashboard reports progress and scores.

Ecosystem

Where it fits with other Nplay products

Scholar runs on Nplay Core, the same real-time engine behind Nplay Nexus and Nplay Vista. Where a procedure needs a full simulator with hand controllers and haptics, our VR training simulators take over; Scholar covers the knowledge and exploration layer that comes before and after. Lectures inside a course can be delivered by an Nplay Orator AI presenter, and a model built for Scholar can be shown life-size in a classroom on the Nplay Halo Box.

FAQ

Immersive training platform: frequently asked questions

Is Nplay Scholar available now?

Scholar is a concept in development by Nplay Academy. We are selecting pilot institutions in Saudi Arabia and Jordan to validate the platform with real courses before the official MENA launch.

Do learners need VR headsets?

No. Scholar is cloud-based and runs in a web browser; VR is an optional mode for institutions that have headsets. Multiplayer collaboration works in both.

Can our own instructors build courses?

Yes. The web portal is designed so trainers create immersive content without programming: choose a model, add hotspots, media and quizzes, publish.

Where do the 3D models come from?

From the built-in library, from your CAD or BIM files, or from Nplay's 3D studio, which models and scans objects to order.

How is Scholar licensed?

The model planned is an annual licence per institution plus a fee per course built with the immersive builder, with business packages for corporates. Ask us for details when you apply for the pilot.
