Nplay Nexus — virtual exhibition platformConcept · in development

منصة المعارض والمؤتمرات الافتراضية ثلاثية الأبعاد

Nplay Nexus is being built as a virtual event platform Saudi Arabia's organisers can run in a browser. Nplay Nexus is a 3D convention centre in the browser. Exhibitors book and brand booths on an interactive map, speakers run live sessions in the auditorium, and visitors walk the halls as custom avatars, chat with booth staff and buy on the spot. Nplay's team built and operated the platform behind the region's first fully virtual Arab summit; the Nexus re-launch is now in development on Nplay Core.

Why virtual

An exhibition without travel, venue hire or a carbon bill

Traditional venues limit who can attend by geography, cost and logistics. Flat webinar tools solve the distance problem but lose everything that makes an exhibition useful: walking a hall, stopping at a stand, talking to the person behind it, bumping into someone in the corridor.

Nplay Nexus keeps the venue and removes the travel. It is a virtual exhibition platform where the convention centre, the booths and the people are all in 3D, navigated from a normal browser with a digital avatar. Participants join from anywhere, exhibitors sell from anywhere, and the organiser sees every click.

The approach is proven. Nplay's team helped build and run the first fully virtual Arab summit inside a virtual expo centre, with delegates, speakers and exhibitors attending as avatars. Nexus is the re-launch of that platform on our current engine — see the case study.

As a metaverse company Jordan teams can reach directly, and a metaverse company Riyadh partners can brief in Arabic, we treat the virtual venue as a practical tool: a place for exhibitions, conferences and training, not a slogan.

Features

Seven things Nexus does

A complete set of event-management tools wrapped around a realistic 3D venue.

3D venue environment

A modern convention centre — main hall, auditorium, meeting rooms and booth halls — where exhibitors can show products and services more easily than on a physical stand.

Event creation & management

Organisers create the event, set the agenda and open registration. Speakers create live sessions for visitors in the Nexus auditorium.

Avatar customisation

Every user builds a digital avatar in their dashboard that reflects their own appearance — their virtual identity across the event.

Live & on-demand content

Live-streamed keynotes, panels and workshops, recorded for on-demand viewing. Visitors enter booths and talk to staff via live chat or a virtual assistant.

Booth reservation on an interactive map

Exhibitors see the floor plan, pick a booth, choose size and colours, upload logos, documents and posters to the booth screens, and pay from their control panel. Attendees navigate the same map at the push of a button.

Analytics — control every click

Exhibitors and speakers get dashboards showing who attended sessions, who visited booths and what revenue came from products or session tickets.

Security & payments

Encryption, authentication and access control on the platform; secure payments for booths, products and tickets.

Use cases

Events that work as a virtual conference in 3D

  • Virtual conferences and summits — regional gatherings where delegates cannot all travel, with an auditorium and networking hall
  • Exhibitions and trade shows — a virtual exhibition platform where exhibitors book booths, meet buyers and sell products
  • Government and sector forums in Saudi Arabia — a virtual event platform saudi arabia agencies can run for national programmes with full analytics
  • Educational workshops and training fairs — universities and academies with sessions, booths and on-demand replays
  • Virtual galleries and art exhibitions — curated 3D halls for artists and cultural bodies (see heritage metaverse)
  • Hybrid events — a virtual twin of a physical exhibition so remote visitors attend the same show
How an event runs

From floor plan to closing keynote

  1. Configure the venue

We brand the convention centre, set up halls and the booth map, and connect registration and payments.

  2. Sell booths & tickets

Exhibitors reserve and customise booths from their panel; speakers publish sessions; attendees register and build avatars.

  3. Go live

Sessions stream into the auditorium, booth staff chat with visitors, the social hall opens for networking. Organisers monitor everything in real time.

  4. Report & replay

Recorded content stays available on demand and every exhibitor gets attendance, visit and revenue reports.

Ecosystem

Where it fits with other Nplay products

Nexus is built on Nplay Core, the multiplayer engine that also powers Nplay Scholar and Nplay Vista. Keynotes can be delivered by an Nplay Orator AI presenter. For physical or hybrid events, Nplay FrontRow handles 3D seat booking in the real venue while Nexus hosts the remote audience, and Nplay Live streams the sessions to ticket holders on mobile. Our metaverse platform page covers custom worlds beyond the convention-centre format.

FAQ

Virtual event platform Saudi Arabia: frequently asked questions

Is Nplay Nexus available today?

The platform re-launch is in development. Nplay's team built and operated the previous generation, which hosted the first fully virtual Arab summit in a virtual expo centre. We can already scope and plan events for the re-launch.

Do attendees need a VR headset?

No. Nexus runs in a web browser using WebGL with a digital avatar. A PC app and VR headset mode are supported for those who want deeper immersion.

How do exhibitors set up a booth?

From their control panel they view the interactive map, select a booth, choose size and colours, upload logos, documents and posters to the booth screens, and pay. Live chat and a virtual assistant handle visitors during the event.

Can we sell tickets and products inside the platform?

Yes. The payment system covers booth reservations, in-booth product sales and session tickets, and the analytics dashboard reports revenue per exhibitor and speaker.

Can Nexus be a hybrid extension of a physical exhibition?

Yes. A virtual twin of your physical show lets remote visitors walk the same halls, and sessions filmed on site stream into the virtual auditorium.
