Virtual museum tour and campus virtual tour for Jordan and Saudi ArabiaAvailable in Jordan & Saudi Arabia
Nplay creates virtual tours for museums and universities that visitors can open on any device. A museum wants more people to see its collection. A university wants applicants to see the campus before they apply. Both can do it with a well-made tour. Nplay builds 360° and 3D tours of galleries, heritage sites, campuses and open days, with hotspots, audio and Arabic and English text. This page is part of our virtual tour service.
Most of your audience will never be in the building
A gallery is open from nine to five. A campus is visited by a few hundred applicants in a good year. Yet the people who might want to see them include school groups, researchers, the diaspora and students in other countries who are comparing ten universities at once.
A virtual museum tour lets a visitor stand in the gallery, look at each case and read or hear the story behind each object, at any hour. A campus virtual tour lets an applicant walk from the gate to the library to the lab before they choose a course. A virtual tour for museums Jordan offers can mean a school class in Aqaba visiting a gallery in Amman. A virtual tour for museums Saudi Arabia offers can reach visitors abroad who plan a trip.
The tours are not a replacement for the visit. They are the reason someone decides to make it.
What we build for museums and heritage sites
Gallery tours with object stories
A 360° tour of each hall with hotspots on the objects: a label, a short text, an audio guide in Arabic and English, an archive photograph or a 3D model of the piece that visitors can rotate.
Heritage site walk-throughs
Tours of sites that are fragile, remote or closed to the public, with optional 3D reconstruction of how the site looked in the past, clearly marked as a reconstruction.
Guided live tours
A curator leads a class, a press group or a delegation through the galleries on a video call and answers questions.
Learning packs for schools
Question sheets and trails that a teacher can run in class, using the tour as the gallery. We build the interactive layer with the museum's education team.
In-gallery screens
A tablet or kiosk that extends the real gallery: visitors see what is in the store, what used to stand in a space or what is behind a locked door.
What we build for campuses
A virtual tour for universities Jordan applicants can open covers the gate, the lecture halls and the labs.
Campus virtual tour
A map-led tour from the main gate to the library, lecture halls, labs, sports facilities and accommodation, with short videos from students and faculty at the stops that matter.
Open day and orientation
A guided live tour for international applicants, and a self-guided one for parents. New students can use the same tour in their first week to find their way around.
Faculty and lab tours
Individual tours of labs, studios and workshops that are hard to show on an open day because of safety or scheduling.
Accommodation and facilities
Room types, dining areas and student services for applicants who will live on or near the campus.

When a tour becomes a platform
A tour is the simplest way to put a place online. When an institution wants more, we can extend it. Our interactive museum design Jordan service adds touch screens, holograms and projection inside the real gallery, and our heritage metaverse approach builds a programme of stories and guides around a site.
For universities, we delivered a complete 3D digital twin of a campus for a Jordanian university in 2022, with students and teachers as avatars. A campus tour is a smaller first step on the same road. See the digital twin campus university use case for where it can lead.
From permission to a public tour
Agree the route and the rules
We confirm which spaces can be captured, what cannot be photographed and what needs permission, including any object or document that has restrictions.
Capture
We photograph galleries, sites or campus areas outside opening hours where possible, and photograph or scan selected objects for 3D viewing.
Write and place the content
Your curators or academics supply the text. We edit it for screens, record audio guides in Arabic and English and place it at the right stops.
Build and review
We build the tour, add maps and navigation and send a private link for review by your team.
Launch and maintain
We publish it on your site and kiosks, train your team to update labels and keep it current as exhibits and courses change.

Virtual tours for museums and universities: frequently asked questions
Can you build a virtual tour for museums Jordan offers with audio guides?
Yes. Each object or stop can carry a short text, an audio guide in Arabic and English, archive photographs and, where we scan the piece, a 3D model that visitors can rotate. Your curators approve the text before publication.
Do you work with museums in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. We capture on site in Saudi Arabia and produce the 3D content in our Amman studio. A virtual tour for museums Saudi Arabia offers usually starts with one gallery as a pilot and grows from there.
What does a campus virtual tour include?
A virtual tour for universities Jordan applicants use is usually a map-led 360° tour of the main gate, lecture halls, library, labs, sports facilities and accommodation, with short videos from students and faculty, and a link to apply or ask a question.
Will a virtual tour replace visits to the museum or campus?
No. It is meant to attract visitors who would otherwise not know the place exists, and to prepare those who will visit. Many institutions also run the tour on a tablet in the foyer.
Can the tour link to a bigger project later?
Yes. The same scenes can feed an interactive museum design Jordan installation, a heritage metaverse programme or a digital twin campus university project, so a first tour does not have to be thrown away.
