VR stadium experience for leagues, clubs and stadiums

تجربة المشجع الغامرة — بث VR ومقاعد ثلاثية الأبعاد ومناطق مشجعين

Nplay designs the VR stadium experience Saudi Arabia's clubs and venues can offer fans. Where audiences don't just watch events — they become part of them. Our proposed programme for leagues, clubs and stadiums puts fans on the pitch through VR sports broadcasting, lets them pick their seat in 3D with Nplay FrontRow, and fills the fan zone with holograms and signage from the Halo Box and Nplay Beam.

The brief

Fans want the seat they cannot buy

A stadium has a fixed number of good seats and an unlimited number of fans who want them. Television gives everyone the same director's cut. Nothing in between lets a supporter in another city stand behind the goal, switch to the flyover for the replay, then buy a real seat for the next home game — knowing what the view looks like.

In 2024–2025 we prepared proposals for a national league and for a country-wide immersive broadcasting platform covering sports, concerts, arena events and tourism. This page presents that proposed programme — how we would deploy it for a league, a club or a stadium operator — alongside the delivered products it rests on. No club or league is named.

VR sports broadcasting Saudi Arabia rights holders consider starts with the stadium itself: where cameras can sit, how the feed is delivered and what a fan sees from a chosen seat. We scope that with the venue first.

Programme

What we would deploy

Multi-perspective replays

Instant replays from several perspectives for deeper analysis — the fan, not the director, decides which angle to review.

VR sponsorship inventory

Event organisers and sponsors personalise the 3D environment with branded content and advertisements — new inventory that does not exist on television, with engagement analytics for advertisers.

How we would deliver

The proposed Phase-1 plan, adapted to one league

  1. Venues and hardware

Install VR and 3D camera systems and broadcasting equipment at the first stadiums; secure high-speed connectivity. Our national plan targeted five locations per category.

  2. 3D PiP and control rooms

Develop the picture-in-picture broadcasting layer and remote control rooms that use AI to manage layouts and scheduling — four control rooms in the proposed plan.

  3. Rights and partnerships

Agreements with the league, clubs and sponsors for live rights, replays, VR ad inventory and premium content.

  4. Test, then launch

Full-scale trials with concurrent live events, fan feedback from a free public demonstration, then commercial launch with pay-per-view, subscriptions and sponsorship.

FAQ

VR stadium experience Saudi Arabia: frequently asked questions

Has Nplay broadcast a live match in VR yet?

The VR stadium experience described here is a proposed programme prepared for a national league and a national broadcasting platform in 2024–2025, including a planned free public demonstration. The hologram, signage and 3D production components are delivered products; the broadcast platform is offered as a project with our camera-technology partners.

Which devices can fans use?

The proposal specified mobile phones, VR headsets, web browsers, TV apps and large venue screens, with accessibility options such as translations, closed captions and adjustable audio and visual settings.

How does VR sponsorship inventory work?

The 3D environment around the live feed — boards, overlays, the virtual seat area — can carry branded content and advertisements that television viewers never see. Viewer preferences and engagement are captured so sponsors get measurable results.

Is Nplay FrontRow available for ticketing today?

Nplay FrontRow, our 3D venue and seat-selection platform, is in development. We can build a 3D venue walkthrough and seat map for a stadium as a project, with booking integrated to the club's ticketing.

What can a club do this season without the full platform?

Fan-zone holograms on a Halo Box, concourse signage and crowd alerts on Nplay Beam, and 3D content of the stadium and squad from our studio are all deliverable now. They also become the assets for the VR broadcast later.
